The Archie MCP is a platform-wide connector. You sign in with your Archie account and an assistant like Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT can help you manage Archie itself — browse your projects, organizations, and environments, explore any project’s API, and run administrative actions. It is distinct from the per-project MCP Server: the Archie MCP spans everything your account can reach and includes management tools; the MCP Server is scoped to one project and is data-only.

Connect it

The Archie MCP is added as a custom connector by URL and authenticates with your Archie account. Connection URL

Add the connector

In your assistant, open its connectors settings (for example, Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector in Claude) and paste the connection URL above.
2

A window opens — sign in with your Archie account and approve access.
3

Ask

The assistant can now help you navigate and manage your projects and organizations.
For Claude Code (the CLI), add it from your terminal:

Authentication

The Archie MCP authenticates with OAuth 2.1. When you add the connector, your assistant opens a browser window where you sign in with your Archie account; the assistant then holds a token and calls the server on your behalf. There is no key to paste.
The Archie MCP acts with your platform access — the same projects, organizations, and permissions you have when you sign in to Archie. It doesn’t grant new access. Sharing the connector doesn’t share your session: each person signs in as themselves.

Tools

Because the Archie MCP is platform-wide, it exposes the full tool set — account navigation, API exploration, data, and management — not just the data-only floor the MCP Server exposes. Clients group them as read-only or write. Account & platform — get your bearings across Archie: API & data — explore a project’s schema and work with its data: Management — administrative actions on a project:
The management tools make real changes to your project (keys, roles, authentication, storage). Keep your assistant’s write approvals on so a write is confirmed before it runs. Every action is still bounded by your own platform access — the Archie MCP can never do more than you can.

Archie MCP vs. MCP Server

To connect an assistant to a single project’s data — for your project’s own users and agents — enable and use the MCP Server instead.
